One morning God woke me up before everyone else to spend time in prayer on the empty beach along Lake Michigan on the Leelanau Peninsula. When I stepped foot on the sand and gazed up at the glorious sunrise, I heard in my heart a powerful and warm, "Welcome". I was so happy I had pushed myself to rise early! The Lord loves to spend one on one time with us to inspire and empower us to take on whatever lies ahead.
